Segundo Tonete showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Reno, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Segundo Tonete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Reno in the 12th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in A.A. Estudiantes's zone, Pascual Vincente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Fiz came out of the goal and Pascual Vincente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of A.A. Estudiantes booed when Calzada FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Monico didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Reno in the 23rd minute of play forced Calzada FC's goalkeeper Segundo Tonete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Segundo Tonete took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Reno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ismael Joanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Rafael Fiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, A.A. Estudiantes's Rafael Fiz got control of the ball when Pascual Vincente tried to sneak it across the goal line. Segundo Tonete took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Peio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a left leg Segundo Tonete saved Calzada FC from getting behind. Rafael Fiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Ourente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulises Prejun during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to A.A. Estudiantes getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Ulises Prejun hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gonzalo Reno to make the kick off. Calzada FC's Segundo Tonete proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Calzada FC from getting a goal against them. In the 55th match minute, Calzada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Monico to maneuver through the defense. Mauro Ourente hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, A.A. Estudiantes's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Joanes came free, but Rafael Fiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Calzada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Lertxun to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute of the match, Gonzalo Reno tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Segundo Tonete saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pascual Vincente during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Estudiantes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Peio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 90 played minutes Calzada FC got a freekick which was hit by Romulo Crispo. Segundo Tonete made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucas Peio in the 95th minute. The Calzada FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching A.A. Estudiantes's performance. The match ended with a win for A.A. Estudiantes.
