Spectators: 6662 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vicente Ostadar started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Piro FC - River Plate's Eliseo Roldan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emanuel Pio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Emanuel Pio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Orlin in the 24th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Vicente Ostadar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 40 played minutes, Yahapé AFC's Filomeno Erlantz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Severo Evis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Yahapé AFC reached it. Piro FC - River Plate's Severo Evis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Ostadar in the 43rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Piro FC - River Plate's Gavino Frascuelo got a free kick in the 44th minute. Vicente Ostadar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yahapé AFC's Jose Milio got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victorino Orlin was the one to do the kick off. If Vicente Ostadar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victorino Orlin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emanuel Pio came out and tried to block the shot, but Victorino Orlin slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 57th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romulo Urtsua during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Piro FC - River Plate fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! 66 minutes into the game, Piro FC - River Plate's Victorino Orlin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emanuel Pio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. In the 69th minute, Eliseo Roldan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 79th play minutes Teofilo Intxixu shot 1-7, a short shot which went by Emanuel Pio and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 85th match minute, Yahapé AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Milio to maneuver through the defense. Emanuel Pio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Orlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victorino Orlin in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuel Pio saved Yahapé AFC from getting behind. In the 95thth minute of the game Victorino Orlin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yahapé AFC's Emanuel Pio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teofilo Intxixu came free with the goalkeeper in the 100th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Emanuel Pio could save by the left post. The Yahapé AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Piro FC - River Plate's performance. The match ended with a win for Piro FC - River Plate.
