Spectators: 7199 (Terracing: 5401, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) Paulo Cesario started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Paulo Cesario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 5 minutes, Paulo Cesario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villa de mayo F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Cesario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leonel Librado made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Ismael Joanes sent off a good shot on target. Segundo Tonete showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Beturian, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute Samuel Beturian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Segundo Tonete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calzada FC's Segundo Tonete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Beturian in the 12th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Cesario in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Segundo Tonete prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Cesario in the 15th minute of play forced Calzada FC's goalkeeper Segundo Tonete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Segundo Tonete came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Villa de mayo F.C's Samuel Beturian. But to his dismay, Samuel Beturian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Calzada FC's Segundo Tonete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Beturian in the 21st minute of play. In the 28th minute Samuel Beturian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Segundo Tonete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th match minute, Calzada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Vincente to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the game, Pascual Vincente was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Calzada FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villa de mayo F.C the free kick. A collision led to Calzada FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Pascual Vincente hit a great ball. After 34 played minutes Villa de mayo F.C got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Senen. Paulo Cesario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Segundo Tonete having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Cesario in the 42nd minute of play forced Calzada FC's goalkeeper Segundo Tonete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Villa de mayo F.C were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, Segundo Tonete successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After having played for 55 minutes, Ismael Joanes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calzada FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismael Joanes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mauro Ourente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Librado having to interfere. Gonzalo Senen kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. If Ismael Joanes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leonel Librado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Ourente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ismael Joanes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Villa de mayo F.C's Jesus Ignatius got a free kick in the 64th minute. Paulo Cesario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mauro Ourente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leonel Librado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Joanes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Paulo Cesario took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Segundo Tonete to make any attempt to save it. Villa de mayo F.C's Samuel Beturian got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Villa de mayo F.C booed when Calzada FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Vincente didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute Villa de mayo F.C were awarded a corner. Omar Hartz went to the cornerflag to take it. The Villa de mayo F.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Villa de mayo F.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
