Spectators: 7232 (Terracing: 5426, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Victorino Orlin took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th match minute, Cuchame Posho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Diegotxe to maneuver through the defense. Piro FC - River Plate's Victorino Orlin got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Piro FC - River Plate booed when Cuchame Posho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvio Diegotxe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victorino Orlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Torres having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Teofilo Intxixu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piro FC - River Plate's supporters rose to their feet, but Teofilo Intxixu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramon Torres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teofilo Intxixu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramon Torres having to make a save. If Victorino Orlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 32ndth minute of the game Victorino Orlin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cuchame Posho's Ramon Torres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teofilo Intxixu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Torres having to interfere. Ramon Torres was a little too slow when Victorino Orlin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 1-0. Ramon Torres was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Victorino Orlin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Victorino Orlin really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 45th minute, Victorino Orlin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute, Gavino Frascuelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan Fagildo to make the kick off. Severo Evis was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Juan Fagildo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Juan Fagildo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Victorino Orlin scored 3-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ramon Torres, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 64th minute, Gavino Frascuelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Augusto Uhin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Juan Fagildo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Augusto Uhin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuchame Posho's supporters rose to their feet, but Augusto Uhin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When Victorino Orlin came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Piro FC - River Plate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorino Orlin couldn't finish the play. Augusto Uhin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Severo Evis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severo Evis went to the wrong direction when Adrian Ledesma was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Ramon Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Roldan in the 93rd minute of the match. After 96 played minutes Cuchame Posho got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Joachim. Piro FC - River Plate walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
