Dante Cordara struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Celestino Ganix didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosario. Dante Cordara kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Fulgencio Gilabert was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 18th minute. Rosario's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 23rd minute of the match, Fulgencio Gilabert tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Celestino Ganix saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Braulio Gotzon's late challenge caught a Rosario's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Braulio Gotzon helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Rosario booed when Curumalán FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Gotzon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celestino Ganix stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fulgencio Gilabert's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Nicanor Pietro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Uxio in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd match minute, Curumalán FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braulio Gotzon to maneuver through the defense. Oscar Uxio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Pietro having to interfere.

The wind increased when Fulgencio Gilabert made the kick off in the second half. Nicanor Pietro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oscar Uxio went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Oscar Uxio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Rosario's Nicanor Pietro got control of the ball when Oscar Uxio tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Rosario's Fulgencio Gilabert in 63 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Uxio couldn't finish the play. Leon Orlan charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leon Orlan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd minute, Leon Orlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicanor Pietro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celedonio Oalo, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
