The audience thought a goal was coming when Benicio Petri got free with Celestino Ganix in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oscar Uxio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aureliano Fertus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Lobus C.A.F.'s Aureliano Fertus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Uxio in the 11th minute of play. Arnoldo Gaxan's late challenge caught a Curumalán FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnoldo Gaxan helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Lobus C.A.F. getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Arnoldo Gaxan hit a great ball. Paolo Oliverio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aureliano Fertus. Lobus C.A.F.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 18th match minute, Curumalán FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clodoveo Urbes to maneuver through the defense. Curumalán FC's Celestino Ganix proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Curumalán FC from getting a goal against them. Benedicto Maxin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oscar Uxio succeeded in the game's 28th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. In the 36th minute, Oscar Uxio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Benicio Petri came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Lobus C.A.F. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benicio Petri couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celedonio Oalo was the one to do the kick off. Lobus C.A.F.'s Aureliano Fertus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Lobus C.A.F. from getting a goal against them. After 52 played minutes Lobus C.A.F. got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Gaxan. When Celedonio Oalo fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curumalán FC's protests and gave Celedonio Oalo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Lobus C.A.F. booed when Curumalán FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celedonio Oalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Benedicto Maxin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aureliano Fertus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oscar Uxio in the 61st minute. Horacio Grabiel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aureliano Fertus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Oalo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Curumalán FC's Celestino Ganix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Maxin in the 69th minute of play. If Benicio Petri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Benedicto Maxin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lobus C.A.F.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Benedicto Maxin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celedonio Oalo might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aureliano Fertus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Celedonio Oalo ran back to his position shaking his head. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Curumalán FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
