Bonnement's supporters rose to their feet, but Constantino Oliveiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rui Aparecido breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rui Aparecido came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Bonnement's Constantino Oliveiro. But to his dismay, Constantino Oliveiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Constantino Oliveiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Silvestre Garcia made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 56 minutes, Eustaquio Giraldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fiebre CFCCyD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustaquio Giraldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Giraldo in the 60th minute of play forced Bonnement's goalkeeper Robustiano Satordi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute Silvestre Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Satordi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Bonnement supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bonnement would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
