Honorio Benitez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leon Rechoncho. Fabio Senin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amador Javiar in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Iker Berdaitz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flojitos de Maschwitz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Leon Rechoncho's Fabio Senin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iker Berdaitz in the 27th minute of play. Enzo Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. If Adolfo Cordeal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Adolfo Cordeal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Leon Rechoncho's Fabio Senin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Leon Rechoncho from getting a goal against them. Amado Sanchez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Honorio Benitez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leon Rechoncho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amado Sanchez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amado Sanchez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Teodoro Canor hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 54 minutes into the game, Delmiro Ciceron was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flojitos de Maschwitz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leon Rechoncho the free kick. A collision led to Flojitos de Maschwitz getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Delmiro Ciceron hit a great ball. Honorio Benitez was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Amado Sanchez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Amado Sanchez really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. In the 63rd minute, Celedonio Nisio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabio Senin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iker Berdaitz in the 67th minute of play. When Flojitos de Maschwitz's Adolfo Cordeal in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Leon Rechoncho's goalie prevented a goal. When Adolfo Cordeal came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Flojitos de Maschwitz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adolfo Cordeal couldn't finish the play. After having played for 72 minutes, Iker Berdaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flojitos de Maschwitz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iker Berdaitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 76 minutes Flojitos de Maschwitz's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arturo Vedillo who took care of the corner kick. If Iker Berdaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonatan Millano kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Adolfo Cordeal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Senin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabio Senin came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Flojitos de Maschwitz's Iker Berdaitz. But to his dismay, Iker Berdaitz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. There was no doubt that Flojitos de Maschwitz were the better team. Flojitos de Maschwitz's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
