Spectators: 6650 (Terracing: 5001, Seating: 1649, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benicio Berasko started the match with the kick off. Leon Rechoncho's Fabio Senin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benicio Berasko in the 3rd minute of play. In the 3rd match minute, Leon Rechoncho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Millano to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Serafin Qwinton in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Senin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Igor Gizon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabio Senin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafin Qwinton, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Arturo Nisio notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Leon Rechoncho's Fabio Senin. Fabio Senin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of C.A. Independiente booed when Leon Rechoncho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Millano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute of the match Francisco Nuñez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabio Senin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Leon Rechoncho's Fabio Senin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafin Qwinton in the 20th minute of play. Serafin Qwinton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amado Sanchez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Angelino Mateo made a huge save. Serafin Qwinton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Senin having to interfere. Benicio Berasko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Fabio Senin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serafin Qwinton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Leon Rechoncho's goalkeeper Fabio Senin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. C.A. Independiente were awarded a corner in the 51th minute after Leon Rechoncho's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Francisco Nuñez took the corner. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amado Sanchez made a kick off. Serafin Qwinton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Fabio Senin made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Gizon in the 59th minute of play forced C.A. Independiente's goalkeeper Angelino Mateo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leon Rechoncho's Fabio Senin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Leon Rechoncho from getting a goal against them. The supporters of C.A. Independiente booed when Leon Rechoncho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Millano didn't get a good kick on the ball. C.A. Independiente's Benicio Berasko got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78thth minute of the game Benicio Berasko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leon Rechoncho's Fabio Senin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Amado Sanchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Serafin Qwinton came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the C.A. Independiente fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafin Qwinton couldn't finish the play. Fabio Senin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benicio Berasko, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. C.A. Independiente's Angelino Mateo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Cruz in the 97th minute of play. If Amado Sanchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C.A. Independiente's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
