After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Benicio Berasko managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. Independiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Benicio Berasko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celestino Haimar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 8th minute of the match, Serafin Qwinton got a very nice opportunity to score, but Celestino Haimar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With an all-out effort, C.A. Independiente's Celestino Haimar threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Benicio Berasko, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Francisco Nuñez kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Baldomiro Evangelista ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelino Mateo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafin Qwinton got free with Celestino Haimar in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Baldomiro Evangelista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. C.A. Independiente's Angelino Mateo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Paublo in the 31st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Independiente's zone, Marcial Paublo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelino Mateo came out of the goal and Marcial Paublo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcial Paublo in the 46th minute of play forced C.A. Independiente's goalkeeper Angelino Mateo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The C.A. Independiente players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Oasis were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benicio Berasko made a kick off. Baldomiro Evangelista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Mateo having to interfere. Ceferino Romildo struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Angelino Mateo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oasis. 58 minutes into the game, Damaso Goito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Celestino Haimar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcial Paublo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Independiente's zone, Marcial Paublo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelino Mateo came out of the goal and Marcial Paublo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute Baldomiro Evangelista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Mateo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Oasis getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Osvaldo Madeo hit a great ball. Serafin Qwinton struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Celestino Haimar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. Independiente. When Benicio Berasko came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the C.A. Independiente fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benicio Berasko couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomiro Evangelista in the 86th minute of play forced C.A. Independiente's goalkeeper Angelino Mateo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes in the game, Baldomiro Evangelista fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Angelino Mateo having to interfere.
