Spectators: 6652 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 0) Angel Tipi made the kick off and thus started the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucio Luar got free with Dario Gonzalez in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 4 minutes into the game, Haroldo Osorio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC LIONS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Redondo AFC the free kick. After 4 played minutes FC LIONS got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Osorio. Angel Tipi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Dario Gonzalez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Angel Tipi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Benicio Tabb took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Artemio Nicholas. Artemio Nicholas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to FC LIONS getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Ermegildo Celino hit a great ball. After having played for 23 minutes, Teobaldo Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Redondo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teobaldo Abreu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 34 minutes, Godofredo Llope made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Redondo AFC's Artemio Nicholas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Artemio Nicholas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godofredo Llope in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th match minute, FC LIONS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Osorio to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Redondo AFC's Teobaldo Abreu tried to score from far away in the 41st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in FC LIONS's zone, Angel Tipi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Gonzalez came out of the goal and Angel Tipi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC LIONS's Dario Gonzalez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save FC LIONS from getting a goal against them. The Redondo AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC LIONS were winning 0-2.

Benicio Tabb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Artemio Nicholas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Godofredo Llope came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the FC LIONS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godofredo Llope couldn't finish the play. Artemio Nicholas made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Godofredo Llope sent off a good shot on target. In the 62nd minute Benicio Tabb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artemio Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Godofredo Llope's late challenge caught a Redondo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godofredo Llope helped the player get up and apologised. Godofredo Llope hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. FC LIONS's Dario Gonzalez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Luar in the 77th minute of play. Angel Tipi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Gonzalez having to interfere. Godofredo Llope fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artemio Nicholas having to interfere. Arnulfo Bilintx kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by Redondo AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ermegildo Celino was slow to take the kick. During this time FC LIONS's players had a chance to rest. In the 96th minute, Angel Tipi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dario Gonzalez was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2.
