In the 26th minute, Tacurales AFC's Lucio Ur ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Artemio Nicholas. Artemio Nicholas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Salvador Orlin's late challenge caught a Redondo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Salvador Orlin helped the player get up and apologised. After 30 played minutes Tacurales AFC got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Orlin. In the 34th minute Angel Tipi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Favila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnulfo Bilintx kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Luar in the 44th minute of play forced Tacurales AFC's goalkeeper Remigio Favila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artemio Nicholas made a fantastic save in the 49th minute, when Rogelio Cheche sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angel Tipi was the one to do the kick off. Artemio Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogelio Cheche, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute.
