Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Higinio Salomon in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ezequiel Tabb prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Ezequiel Tabb managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when N. Chicago's Roberto Brion fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 1-0 became the score in the 33rd minute when Higinio Salomon elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cienfuegos AFC's goalkeeper Ezequiel Tabb, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Claudio Lidon fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cienfuegos AFC's protests and gave Claudio Lidon a yellow card for diving instead. 40 minutes into the match, N. Chicago's Higinio Salomon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ezequiel Tabb narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Cienfuegos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Salomon came free, but Ezequiel Tabb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guido Bilbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Tabb having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Higinio Salomon was the one to do the kick off. Ezequiel Tabb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Salomon in the 52nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Higinio Salomon put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ezequiel Tabb. Claudio Lidon got his second yellow card in the match during the 59th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. 61 minutes into the game, Guido Bilbo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. N. Chicago's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cienfuegos AFC the free kick. Guido Bilbo kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Gonzalo Neto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Epifanio Cresenciano in the 63rd minute. When N. Chicago's Higinio Salomon in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. N. Chicago had played much better football throughout.
