Beazley's Horacio Chabier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Beazley from getting a goal against them. Horacio Chabier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Candido Matei in the 5th minute. Samuel Cordara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Teyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cieneguita's Samuel Cordara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Teyo in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Pietro in the 11th minute of play forced Cieneguita's goalkeeper Samuel Cordara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Cieneguita defense, Hernan Gabino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samuel Cordara. The Cieneguita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuel Cordara should have stopped the shot. 18 minutes into the match, Beazley's goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno Grabiel came free, but Horacio Chabier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 minutes, Camilo Aznar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Beazley and the Cieneguita players grew even worse after the yellow card. Camilo Aznar hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Simon Teyo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Beazley fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 24th minute, Simon Teyo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 26 minutes of play, Beazley's Camilo Aznar made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel Cordara was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Jesus Pietro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Beazley booed when Cieneguita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Epifanio Abancens didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Cieneguita's Candido Matei nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Horacio Chabier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. After having played for 41 minutes, Hernan Gabino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beazley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernan Gabino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fausto Bastian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Cordara having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Honorato Alonso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horacio Chabier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Grabiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hernan Gabino made a kick off. Samuel Cordara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hernan Gabino's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. After having played for 58 minutes, Erasmo Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cieneguita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erasmo Cruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Samuel Cordara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Aznar in the 60th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Beazley were awarded a corner. Fausto Bastian went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience was convinced that Hernan Gabino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuel Cordara was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Samuel Cordara came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Beazley's Simon Teyo. But to his dismay, Simon Teyo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Samuel Cordara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hernan Gabino's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. 78 minutes into the game, one of Beazley:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Simon Teyo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beazley's supporters rose to their feet, but Simon Teyo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Cordara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Hernan Gabino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simon Teyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Cordara having to interfere. In the 91stth minute of the game Hernan Gabino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cieneguita's Samuel Cordara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hernan Gabino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beazley's Simon Teyo got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 97 minutes into the game, Cieneguita's Arnulfo Chumo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Horacio Chabier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-5. When the match was over Beazley could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cieneguita throughout the match.
