Emanuel Eguntsenti showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Enrique Irrintzi might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Danilo Weather. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enrique Irrintzi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 11th minute, Candido Madeo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Fabio Afonso came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Caligol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabio Afonso couldn't finish the play. Danilo Weather made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Irrintzi in the 20th minute of play. Caligol's Danilo Weather proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Caligol from getting a goal against them. After 24 played minutes Caligol got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Serapio. Enrique Irrintzi struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Danilo Weather didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Gallinero. Candido Madeo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Danilo Weather firmly grabbed it by the left post. 36 minutes into the match, El Gallinero's Celso Galoer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Danilo Weather narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Candido Madeo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Danilo Weather made a huge save. In the 39th minute, El Gallinero's Benjamin Austin seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Benjamin Austin the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of El Gallinero protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Benjamin Austin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 38 minutes into the game, one of El Gallinero:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Caligol a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Francisco Jon, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of El Gallinero's Dalmacio Olivar. 1-1. 47 minutes into the match, Caligol's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Irrintzi came free, but Danilo Weather reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enrique Irrintzi to make the kick off. Caligol's Danilo Weather played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Irrintzi in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, El Gallinero's Enrique Irrintzi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Danilo Weather narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 54th minute, Felipe Joseph hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Delmar Ioritz managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Gallinero's supporters rose to their feet, but Delmar Ioritz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Weather breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 56th match minute, Caligol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Serapio to maneuver through the defense. Edgardo Serapio hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After 67 played minutes Caligol got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Serapio. In the 72nd minute, Delmar Ioritz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, El Gallinero's goalkeeper Dalmacio Olivar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romulo Lorien. Enrique Irrintzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute.
