Francisco Ospetsu kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Amadeo Aresti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Calixto having to interfere. If Bruno Xabel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Bruno Xabel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pascual Calixto was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Amadeo Aresti who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Pascual Calixto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Xabel in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pascual Calixto saved Leoni AFC from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Amadeo Aresti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Xabel in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pascual Calixto saved Leoni AFC from getting behind. The supporters of Jarillas FC booed when Leoni AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Evis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruno Xabel succeeded in the game's 75th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. After 80 played minutes Leoni AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Rozarius. In the 80th minute of the match Arnaldo Orti shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pascual Calixto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 85th minute, Bruno Xabel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 90th minute Amadeo Aresti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Calixto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Amadeo Aresti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jarillas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeo Aresti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pascual Calixto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
