Esteban Ramone yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Ivan Rozarius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Esteban Ramone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 2-1 became the score in the 17th minute when Silvestre Cordario elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The Rio Cuarto fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Rio Cuarto's Christian Jon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Rio Cuarto's Ildefonso Arias got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rio Cuarto's zone, Silvestre Cordario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteban Ramone came out of the goal and Silvestre Cordario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Francisco Ixaka didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victorino Satordi went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. 32 minutes into the match, Rio Cuarto's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Cordario came free, but Esteban Ramone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Rio Cuarto's Victorino Satordi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francisco Ixaka narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Francisco Ixaka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Jon in the 34th minute of the match. If Silvestre Cordario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rio Cuarto's goalkeeper Esteban Ramone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eugenio Mederi's late challenge caught a Alcaraz FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eugenio Mederi helped the player get up and apologised. Eugenio Mederi kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Esteban Ramone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Cordario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silvestre Cordario was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Rio Cuarto getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Ildefonso Arias hit a great ball. In the 55th match minute, Alcaraz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Truylos to maneuver through the defense. Francisco Ixaka made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Victorino Satordi sent off a good shot on target. Rio Cuarto's Christian Jon got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ildefonso Arias charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ildefonso Arias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st minute, Ildefonso Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Jon in the 68th minute of play forced Alcaraz FC's goalkeeper Francisco Ixaka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Jon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francisco Ixaka having to make a save. Silvestre Abel hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Victorino Satordi fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Francisco Ixaka, passed just outside the right post. Christian Jon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute Christian Jon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Ixaka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victorino Satordi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Francisco Ixaka made a huge save. Rio Cuarto's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
