Spectators: 7207 (Terracing: 5407, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gualterio Lamberto started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivan Rozarius in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dionisio Ekhi saved Monserrat FC from getting behind. 8 minutes into the game, Monserrat FC's Faustino Hermon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francisco Ixaka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When Alcaraz FC's Silvestre Cordario in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Monserrat FC's goalie prevented a goal. Ivan Rozarius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Dionisio Ekhi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Silvestre Cordario's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dionisio Ekhi was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. After having played for 32 minutes, Gualterio Lamberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monserrat FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualterio Lamberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Francisco Ixaka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Faustino Hermon in the 34th minute. Faustino Hermon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Ixaka having to interfere. Silvestre Abel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dionisio Ekhi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Cordario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Alcaraz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gualterio Lamberto came free, but Francisco Ixaka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Faustino Hermon got free with Francisco Ixaka in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Silvestre Cordario blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dionisio Ekhi having to make a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silvestre Cordario to strike the kick off in the second half. Faustino Hermon might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Ixaka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Faustino Hermon ran back to his position shaking his head. Francisco Ixaka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualterio Lamberto in the 57th minute of the match. When Florentino Fortun fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alcaraz FC's protests and gave Florentino Fortun a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th minute, Faustino Hermon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monserrat FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. A collision led to Alcaraz FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Marcos Pudes hit a great ball. Gualterio Lamberto struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Francisco Ixaka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monserrat FC. Monserrat FC's Faustino Hermon got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silvestre Cordario hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After 85 played minutes Monserrat FC got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Hermon. In the 86th minute, Benicio Abastas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Faustino Hermon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monserrat FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Faustino Hermon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Ixaka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Monserrat FC had won after a very even match.
