Silvestre Abel charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvestre Abel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Francisco Ixaka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Inocencio Bernaldo's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Ruperto Felipillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Cordario, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mariño AFC's zone, Ivan Rozarius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruperto Felipillo came out of the goal and Ivan Rozarius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mariño AFC's Ruperto Felipillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Mariño AFC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Mariño AFC's Amador Behe got a free kick in the 26th minute. Ruperto Felipillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Cordario in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute of the match Mariño AFC got a corner. Alcaraz FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Amador Behe ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mariño AFC's Amador Behe was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Francisco Ixaka in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After having played for 34 minutes, Inocencio Bernaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mariño AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inocencio Bernaldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Filomeno Isias came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Mariño AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filomeno Isias couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvestre Cordario made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Silvestre Cordario's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruperto Felipillo was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. After 64 minutes, Filomeno Isias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mariño AFC and the Alcaraz FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 played minutes Mariño AFC got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Isias. When Leopoldo Corderall came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Mariño AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leopoldo Corderall couldn't finish the play. After having played for 76 minutes, Inocencio Bernaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mariño AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inocencio Bernaldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mariño AFC's Leopoldo Corderall suffered a sore thigh after 78 minutes and couldn't finish the game. During the 78th minute of the match Silvestre Abel completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Silvestre Abel a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Inocencio Bernaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Ixaka having to interfere. Ruperto Felipillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Rozarius in the 97th minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
