In the 11th match minute, Drink Team FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Ikatz to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Peruxu in the 12th minute of play forced Drink Team FC's goalkeeper Lucio Liher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Drink Team FC defense, Alfredo Frederico kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucio Liher. The Drink Team FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucio Liher should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Drink Team FC's Daniel Bernal got a free kick in the 21st minute. Jose Baleren took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lucio Liher. Drink Team FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Pascual Lehior managed to get in a good position for a shot. Drink Team FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pascual Lehior was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Misael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 26 minutes into the game, Luisito Paio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Marcos Misael was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 31 minutes into the game, Carmelo Gasteiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caleufú FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Drink Team FC the free kick. The supporters of Drink Team FC booed when Caleufú FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Gasteiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luisito Paio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Marcos Misael when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 33rd minute, Carmelo Gasteiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Luisito Paio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucio Liher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Peruxu in the 39th minute of play. With his leg Marcos Misael managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Drink Team FC's Luisito Paio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Drink Team FC's zone, Jairo Peruxu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucio Liher came out of the goal and Jairo Peruxu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcos Misael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Paio in the 48th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jairo Peruxu made a kick off. Drink Team FC's Lucio Liher proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Drink Team FC from getting a goal against them. 53 minutes into the match, Pascual Lehior had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Misael. Caleufú FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pascual Lehior was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Carmelo Gasteiz hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Gaston Behe kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 66th minute Jairo Peruxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Liher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Paio in the 67th minute of play forced Caleufú FC's goalkeeper Marcos Misael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Drink Team FC's Luisito Paio in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caleufú FC's goalie prevented a goal. Marciano Rico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Lucio Liher made a huge save. If Marciano Rico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Jairo Peruxu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lucio Liher. That made the score 2-2 in the 85 minute of play. Lucio Liher was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jairo Peruxu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 94 minute of play. The Caleufú FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Caleufú FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
