Nemesio Aznaro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baltasar Dolfo was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Atlético Gardeliano booed when Independiente Centuria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gogo Grabiel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Alvaro Ongile managed to get in a good position for a shot. Edgardo Eudoxio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Nemesio Aznaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Traian Dima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute Ambrosio Salomone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Lesardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nemesio Aznaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgardo Eudoxio in the 78th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Gardeliano's zone, Traian Dima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nemesio Aznaro came out of the goal and Traian Dima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gaspar Lesardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Faro in the 92nd minute of play. Nemesio Aznaro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Silverio Ted. Nemesio Aznaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Traian Dima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Independiente Centuria's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
