But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remigio Ramos couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Krashponiak FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Narciso Pinto hit a great ball. After having played for 13 minutes, Alejo Natanael managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Burmeister FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejo Natanael was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Krashponiak FC's Roman Camerino got control of the ball when Gogo Sergi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Igor Quintyn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigio Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The audience was convinced that Gustavo Dorio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Igor Quintyn was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. In the 20th minute, Teodosio Etor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the match, Krashponiak FC's goalkeeper Roman Camerino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gogo Sergi. 34 minutes into the game, Alejo Natanael cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Roman Camerino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gustavo Dorio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The wind increased when Alejo Natanael made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Burmeister FC's goalkeeper Igor Quintyn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Remigio Ramos struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Igor Quintyn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Krashponiak FC. In the 59th minute, Krashponiak FC's Gustavo Dorio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Alejo Natanael recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Burmeister FC's Igor Quintyn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Dorio in the 66th minute of play. When Remigio Ramos fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Krashponiak FC's protests and gave Remigio Ramos a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Burmeister FC booed when Krashponiak FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Krashponiak FC's Roman Camerino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Sergi in the 72nd minute of play. Alejo Natanael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Camerino having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Narciso Pinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute of the match Burmeister FC got a corner. Krashponiak FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Celestino Atauri ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Krashponiak FC's goalie and right to Armando Casado. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Krashponiak FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Remigio Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remigio Ramos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Igor Quintyn made a huge save. 90 minutes into the match, Burmeister FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Dorio came free, but Igor Quintyn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Igor Quintyn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Dorio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Burmeister FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Krashponiak FC had controlled the match.
