Gallegos's David Gilmore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Inocente in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Uriel Felipo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. David Gilmore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Felipo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Václav Jaroš received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Amador Gomez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th play minute Gabriel Inocente came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised David Gilmore. 0-2. With a little luck, C. A. Gallegos's David Gilmore got control of the ball when Gabriel Inocente tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Freddy Haritzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 74 minutes, Václav Jaroš managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. A.
