Spectators: 6666 (Terracing: 5002, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Geronimo Iyan got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, Geronimo Iyan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Venancio Jorrin. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 8th match minute, Ciudadela AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximino Ekain to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Ciudadela AFC's Maximino Ekain got a free kick in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Chepes's Geronimo Iyan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Venancio Jorrin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 22 minutes into the game, Astor Izel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chepes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ciudadela AFC the free kick. Astor Izel hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Angel Loi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cayetano Hever went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Honorato Iyan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Venancio Jorrin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geronimo Iyan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Jorrin having to interfere. Geronimo Iyan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Venancio Jorrin made a huge save. In the 34th minute, Ernesto Garaona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ciudadela AFC's goalkeeper Venancio Jorrin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Chepes defense, Ernesto Garaona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angel Loi. The Chepes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angel Loi should have stopped the shot.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Honorato Iyan in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Venancio Jorrin saved Ciudadela AFC from getting behind. Venancio Jorrin came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Chepes's Honorato Iyan. But to his dismay, Honorato Iyan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Angel Loi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cayetano Hever showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 61 minute of play. Honorato Iyan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Venancio Jorrin having to make a save. Geronimo Iyan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Venancio Jorrin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cristian Tono came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Ciudadela AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Tono couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Cristian Tono managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ciudadela AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Tono was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angel Loi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Hever in the 80th minute of play forced Chepes's goalkeeper Angel Loi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cayetano Hever sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the match, Ciudadela AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Geronimo Iyan came free, but Venancio Jorrin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciudadela AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
