An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Bras in the 8th minute of play forced Bayauca FC's goalkeeper Fabio Pintos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Macclesfield Town's Inocencio Mateo got a free kick in the 10th minute. A hard shot by Oscar Quilo from long distance, 11 minutes into the match, got Gavino Fagildo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Fabio Pintos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Bras, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laureano Nafarroa in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Pintos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rodrigo Gilesindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Fagildo having to interfere. Fabio Pintos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Nafarroa in the 23rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Rodrigo Gilesindo put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gavino Fagildo. Gavino Fagildo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Acevedo in the 32nd minute. Rodrigo Gilesindo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gavino Fagildo came out and tried to block the shot, but Rodrigo Gilesindo slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 34th minute. In the 42nd minute, Rodrigo Gilesindo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Bayauca FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Acevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Rodrigo Gilesindo put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gavino Fagildo. Fabio Breogan kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. If Rodrigo Gilesindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. Bayauca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Acevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gavino Fagildo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Macclesfield Town's zone, Victor Acevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gavino Fagildo came out of the goal and Victor Acevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodrigo Gilesindo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Gavino Fagildo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodrigo Gilesindo might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gavino Fagildo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodrigo Gilesindo ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonatan Marz charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonatan Marz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 94 minutes into the match, Bayauca FC's Oscar Quilo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 96 played minutes Macclesfield Town got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Mateo. Bayauca FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
