After 4 played minutes Defensores de Belgrano got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Martxelin. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeremias Martxelin in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Argina saved Deportivo Verón from getting behind. 10 minutes into the match, Deportivo Verón's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Sanchez came free, but Juan Argina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Defensores de Belgrano's Clodoveo Cordareo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Beat in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute of the match Jonathan Alonso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Clodoveo Cordareo skillfully saved the ball. David Delfino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Clodoveo Cordareo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Donato Sanchez notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Deportivo Verón's Juan Argina. Juan Argina was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Deportivo Verón's Dante Jago slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Clodoveo Cordareo. That made the score 1-1 after 32 minutes of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Amado Veto made the kick off in the second half. Juan Argina made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Donato Sanchez sent off a good shot on target. Dante Jago hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Clodoveo Cordareo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Delfino, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the match, David Delfino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clodoveo Cordareo. Defensores de Belgrano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Delfino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Jeremias Martxelin hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Evelio Beat left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Verón fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Evelio Beat took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clodoveo Cordareo. Clodoveo Cordareo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 85thth minute of the game David Delfino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Defensores de Belgrano's Clodoveo Cordareo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dante Jago kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match.
