Conrado Pancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Domenec having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Alcorta FC's Conrado Pancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Domenec narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Conrado Pancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Domenec having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Norberto Fernandes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rolando Domenec. Norberto Fernandes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Conrado Pancho struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Rolando Domenec didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alcorta FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Ereinotz in the 41st minute of play forced Alcorta FC's goalkeeper Diego Librado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armando Inautzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ruben Bernabel fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alcorta FC's protests and gave Ruben Bernabel a yellow card for diving instead. Ruben Bernabel kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tadeo Reno made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Dionisio Bartoli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rolando Domenec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Pancho in the 54th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cleto Txema in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Domenec prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Deportivo Azul booed when Alcorta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleto Txema didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Tadeo Reno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diego Librado was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Rolando Domenec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Pancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Rolando Domenec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Inautzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 72 minutes, Armando Inautzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alcorta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Inautzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hermengildo Ereinotz got free with Diego Librado in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rolando Domenec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Pancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Azul's Dionisio Bartoli got a free kick in the 77th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Conrado Pancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Domenec. Deportivo Azul's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Conrado Pancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Cleto Txema fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Domenec having to interfere. Conrado Pancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Alcorta FC's Cleto Txema got a free kick in the 90th minute. The long shot by Abel Montxo in the 91st minute really tested Diego Librado's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Diego Librado was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Tadeo Reno capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tadeo Reno really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Alcorta FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
