In the 15th minute there was a penalty for Deportivo Azul. Abel Montxo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Claudio Telesforo. 1-1. After 19 played minutes F.C.NYE got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Cai. In the 20th minute, Abel Montxo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and F.C.NYE's Claudio Telesforo didn't even have to move. In the 30th minute, Hector Ostargi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tadeo Reno in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudio Telesforo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Hermengildo Ereinotz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Azul's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermengildo Ereinotz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudio Telesforo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 45 played minutes Deportivo Azul got a freekick which was hit by Dionisio Bartoli. In the 46th match minute, Deportivo Azul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesar Iturri to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Tadeo Reno made the kick off in the second half. Abel Harriet charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Segundo Oliverio succeeded in the game's 68th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. 72 minutes into the match, Deportivo Azul's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Oliverio came free, but Rolando Domenec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesar Iturri kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute Segundo Oliverio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Domenec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abel Montxo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Dionisio Bartoli's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Claudio Telesforo firmly grabbed it by the left post. 82 minutes into the game, Hector Ostargi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C.NYE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Azul the free kick. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Hermengildo Ereinotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Segundo Oliverio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Domenec having to interfere. When Segundo Oliverio came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the F.C.NYE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Segundo Oliverio couldn't finish the play. The F.C.NYE support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
