In the 15th minute Danilo Odon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Bihar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Vinicio Florinio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Haroldo Bihar was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. With a little luck, Gondra's Gustavo Naike got control of the ball when Raimundo Ferrando tried to sneak it across the goal line. Danilo Odon might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Haroldo Bihar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Danilo Odon ran back to his position shaking his head. After 45 minutes of play, Gondra's Danilo Odon made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Haroldo Bihar was left in no man's land by his defense there!

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Danilo Odon made a kick off. If Severino Fliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. A very good chance. After 67 minutes of play, Gondra's Severino Fliz made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Haroldo Bihar was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 71 played minutes Gondra got a freekick which was hit by Severino Fliz. Gustavo Naike took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermegildo Oto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severino Fliz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Haroldo Bihar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danilo Odon struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Haroldo Bihar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gondra. Leonel Rivero did an outstanding performance 82 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-6 to the right of an irritated Gustavo Naike in the goal. The supporters of Gondra booed when Batel AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Breogan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Danilo Odon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Haroldo Bihar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 88 minutes, Cesar Pirro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Batel AFC and the Gondra players grew even worse after the yellow card. Severino Fliz might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Haroldo Bihar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severino Fliz ran back to his position shaking his head. Severino Fliz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Haroldo Bihar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Haroldo Bihar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Odon, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Batel AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gondra were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
