Guido Virila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Tiburcio Francis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Talleres's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Madrid F.C. the free kick. In the 27th minute of the match La Madrid F.C. got a corner. Talleres's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcelo Lartaun ran over to the corner to take the kick. 33 minutes into the match, Talleres's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Lartaun came free, but Tiburcio Francis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La Madrid F.C.'s Leandro Urtsin got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ladislao Tolino kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. A collision led to Talleres getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Baldomero Iliana hit a great ball.
