Lucio Lluques might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Haroldo Bihar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucio Lluques ran back to his position shaking his head. 49 minutes into the match, Batel AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Lluques came free, but Haroldo Bihar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 62nd match minute, Batel AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filomeno Breogan to maneuver through the defense. Desiderio Txaran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
