Pastor Ixidor kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Vikings's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Batel AFC the free kick. In the 12th minute, Godofredo Gai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vikings's Feliciano Beturian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Vikings from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelino Rio in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haroldo Bihar saved Batel AFC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Batel AFC's Cesar Pirro got a free kick in the 17th minute. Batel AFC's Haroldo Bihar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Rio in the 18th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cesar Pirro during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 23 played minutes Batel AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Pirro. The audience was convinced that Angelino Rio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Haroldo Bihar was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. In the 28th match minute, Batel AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filomeno Breogan to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute of the match Vikings got a corner. Batel AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pastor Ixidor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Vikings's Pastor Ixidor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Haroldo Bihar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 36 minutes into the match, Vikings's Gonzalo Garaona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Haroldo Bihar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Vikings booed when Batel AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingo Chano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gonzalo Garaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Haroldo Bihar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Angelino Rio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonzalo Garaona scored 0-2 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Haroldo Bihar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Angelino Rio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Haroldo Bihar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Batel AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Rio came free, but Haroldo Bihar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Vikings's Gonzalo Garaona got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Haroldo Bihar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Garaona in the 66th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raimundo Ferrando in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Feliciano Beturian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ermegildo Oto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Feliciano Beturian having to make a save. Haroldo Bihar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Garaona in the 75th minute of play. Gonzalo Garaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Bihar having to interfere. Gonzalo Garaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Batel AFC's Cesar Pirro got a free kick in the 87th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filomeno Breogan during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Filomeno Breogan hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Angelino Rio hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Vikings played a much better game than Batel AFC and deserved their victory. The Batel AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
