Fidel Sauveur's late challenge caught a Berutti FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fidel Sauveur helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th minute, one of Batel AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Batel AFC. In the 31st minute there was a penalty for Berutti FC. Honorio Herauso stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Haroldo Bihar. 1-0. In the 38th minute, Filomeno Breogan made a precise shot to the right of Abel Arotza. Berutti FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Raimundo Ferrando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Abel Arotza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Amado Peyo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Berutti FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Oto came free, but Abel Arotza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raimundo Ferrando's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abel Arotza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Florentino Urtsua kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. If Raimundo Ferrando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 70th minute, Ermegildo Oto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Abel Arotza. The goal made the score 1-2. Ermegildo Oto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Abel Arotza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florentino Urtsua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Abel Arotza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Pirro in the 93rd minute of play. The Batel AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Batel AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
