Spectators: 7204 (Terracing: 5405, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ramiro Berenguer went to the wrong direction when Pastor Ixidor was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Gonzalo Garaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vikings's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonzalo Garaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramiro Berenguer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th minute, Fernando Sanduru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Hustaz in the 17th minute of play forced Vikings's goalkeeper Feliciano Beturian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feliciano Beturian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Celestino Hustaz went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 21 minutes, Angelino Rio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vikings's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelino Rio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 26 played minutes Vikings got a freekick which was hit by Christian Lucila. If Celestino Hustaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Godofredo Gai kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Feliciano Beturian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Hustaz in the 39th minute of play. Angelino Rio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Berenguer having to interfere. GRAMBY FC's Ramiro Berenguer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Garaona in the 43rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Vikings's zone, Celestino Hustaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliciano Beturian came out of the goal and Celestino Hustaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celestino Hustaz to strike the kick off in the second half. Emiliano Iztal charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emiliano Iztal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Emiliano Iztal kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Ramiro Berenguer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelino Rio in the 54th minute of the match. Gonzalo Garaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute Gonzalo Garaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Berenguer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramiro Berenguer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Garaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. GRAMBY FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
