Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Danilo Odon started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Butumbele's Anastasio Hunfredo got control of the ball when Severino Fliz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Clodoveo Tello's late challenge caught a Butumbele's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clodoveo Tello helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th minute, one of Gondra:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gondra. Gustavo Naike went to the wrong direction when Hipolito Refugio was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severino Fliz got free with Anastasio Hunfredo in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Danilo Odon in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Anastasio Hunfredo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gondra's Severino Fliz got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Gondra's Danilo Odon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anastasio Hunfredo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Danilo Odon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute, Danilo Odon reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anastasio Hunfredo. The goal made the score 1-0. Severino Fliz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Anastasio Hunfredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gondra's Victorio Hurko got a free kick in the 36th minute. Severino Fliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Hunfredo having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Butumbele's Hipolito Refugio got a free kick in the 39th minute. Butumbele's Anastasio Hunfredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Odon in the 43rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severino Fliz got free with Anastasio Hunfredo in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Butumbele's Anastasio Hunfredo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Butumbele from getting a goal against them. Danilo Odon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Hunfredo having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iker Rufo was the one to do the kick off. Anastasio Hunfredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Fliz in the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Odon in the 61st minute of play forced Butumbele's goalkeeper Anastasio Hunfredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Severino Fliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Iker Rufo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 67 minutes, Severino Fliz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gondra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino Fliz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Danilo Odon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Anastasio Hunfredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Danilo Odon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anastasio Hunfredo was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Anastasio Hunfredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Odon in the 82nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roberto Manuelo during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 84 minutes into the match, Butumbele's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Fliz came free, but Anastasio Hunfredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Odon in the 85th minute of play forced Butumbele's goalkeeper Anastasio Hunfredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Butumbele's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Fliz came free, but Anastasio Hunfredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Danilo Odon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gondra fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. There was no doubt that Gondra were the better team. Gondra's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
