Spectators: 7056 (Terracing: 5401, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Miguel Egun made the kick off which started today's match. Baltasar Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Tiburcio Azubeli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Honorato Oidor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Miguel Egun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Blas Opilano was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. If Jacobo Eutropio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute Jacobo Eutropio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Azubeli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Bompland getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Andres Javiero hit a great ball. The supporters of Deportivo Cristal booed when Bompland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basilio Artaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Deportivo Cristal's Blas Roldanillo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Tiburcio Azubeli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobo Eutropio, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Baltasar Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Tiburcio Azubeli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blas Roldanillo's late challenge caught a Bompland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Blas Roldanillo helped the player get up and apologised. 29 minutes into the game, one of Deportivo Cristal:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Bompland a penalty, 31 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jonathan Cordario, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Deportivo Cristal's Blas Opilano. 2-0. Baltasar Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 57th minute Jacobo Eutropio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Azubeli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiburcio Azubeli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobo Eutropio in the 70th minute of the match. In the 74th minute Jacobo Eutropio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Azubeli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Miguel Egun came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Bompland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Egun couldn't finish the play. Alberto Domiku hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Jonathan Cordario took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Blas Opilano. Deportivo Cristal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 83rd minute of the match Jonathan Cordario sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Blas Opilano skillfully saved the ball. Bompland's Basilio Artaldo got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Honorato Oidor took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Blas Opilano. Blas Opilano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 94th minute, Claudio Kinsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bompland's Jonathan Cordario got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Deportivo Cristal players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bompland.
