When Jose Hernandez fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mercedes's protests and gave Jose Hernandez a yellow card for diving instead. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mercedes! Teo Bieito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Ambrosio Vimaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Mercedes fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. JONY F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
