Jimeno Katia scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aldo Honrio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Norberto Argi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Arsenio Sustrai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Porfirio in the 16th minute of play forced Los Gauchos de Boedo's goalkeeper Aldo Honrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Jimeno Katia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aquiles Porfirio struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Aldo Honrio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alcázar FC. In the 24th match minute, Los Gauchos de Boedo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Gurutz to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the game, Igor Isaio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Gauchos de Boedo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alcázar FC the free kick. Arsenio Sustrai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Argi in the 31st minute of the match. Arsenio Sustrai made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Narciso Rayman sent off a good shot on target. 39 minutes into the match, Los Gauchos de Boedo's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Katia came free, but Aldo Honrio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Igor Isaio was shown his second yellow card after 40 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Alcázar FC booed when Los Gauchos de Boedo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Isaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alcázar FC's Jimeno Katia got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Narciso Rayman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anier Natal in the 55th minute of play forced Alcázar FC's goalkeeper Arsenio Sustrai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Los Gauchos de Boedo's corner Anselmo Gurutz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arsenio Sustrai quite easily take care of the ball. After 59 played minutes Alcázar FC got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Chucho. 68 minutes into the match, Los Gauchos de Boedo's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Porfirio came free, but Aldo Honrio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norberto Argi's late challenge caught a Alcázar FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Norberto Argi helped the player get up and apologised. Jacinto Efraim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aquiles Porfirio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Aldo Honrio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aldo Honrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Bihar in the 78th minute of play. If Jimeno Katia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 85 played minutes Los Gauchos de Boedo got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Belo. Aquiles Porfirio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aldo Honrio having to make a save. The Los Gauchos de Boedo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Alcázar FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
