Spectators: 6676 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Angelo Theobald made the kick off which started today's match. If Benigno Polo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 18 minutes, Placido Lehen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oberá FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Placido Lehen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Polo in the 22nd minute of play forced Oberá FC's goalkeeper Maximino Bras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Benigno Polo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximino Bras was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Gustavo Timo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Maximino Bras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benigno Polo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Bras having to interfere. After having played for 37 minutes, Aquilino Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Independiente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquilino Neto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquilino Neto in the 45th minute of play forced Oberá FC's goalkeeper Maximino Bras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Benigno Polo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Benigno Polo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximino Bras breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 48th minute, Gustavo Timo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benigno Polo made a kick off. With his leg Maximino Bras managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Independiente's Benigno Polo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Gustavo Timo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benigno Polo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Maximino Bras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herminio Admon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Theobald in the 60th minute of play. Gerardo Gitano made a great header on Oberá FC's corner, it was just that Independiente's Herminio Admon managed to reach the ball for a save. Placido Lehen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Herminio Admon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Benigno Polo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximino Bras was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Aquilino Neto struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Maximino Bras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Independiente. Independiente's Benigno Polo got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benigno Polo charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benigno Polo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Maximino Bras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Polo in the 75th minute of the match. Aquilino Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 77 played minutes, Independiente's Cecilio Munio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maximino Bras came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Independiente reached it. After 80 minutes, Benigno Polo made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Oberá FC's Maximino Bras tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 82 played minutes Oberá FC got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Bortzaioriz. In the 83rd minute, Benigno Polo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 85 minutes, Benigno Polo made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Oberá FC's Maximino Bras tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Independiente's Benigno Polo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Maximino Bras. That made the score 0-5 after 89 minutes of play. Benigno Polo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Maximino Bras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Placido Lehen might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Herminio Admon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Placido Lehen ran back to his position shaking his head. When the final whistle sounded Independiente left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Oberá FC.
