An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Ibañez in the 24th minute of play forced Independiente's goalkeeper Herminio Admon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herminio Admon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Ibañez in the 27th minute of the match. Ciro Ibañez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Admon having to interfere. Timoteo Barbosa hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benigno Polo in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Justino Pio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, vampiros negros FC's Justino Pio got control of the ball when Benigno Polo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The vampiros negros FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Justino Pio should have stopped the shot. When Ciro Ibañez came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the vampiros negros FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciro Ibañez couldn't finish the play. Justino Pio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benigno Polo's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Gustavo Timo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Pio having to interfere. Justino Pio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Polo in the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, vampiros negros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Polo came free, but Justino Pio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 87th play minutes Benigno Polo shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Justino Pio and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 92ndth minute of the game Benigno Polo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but vampiros negros FC's Justino Pio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Independiente had played much better football throughout.
