The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabio Maties during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Camet AFC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Fabio Maties hit a great ball. Aureliano Gudesteo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alvaro Lazcano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Gudesteo in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Aznar in the 21st minute of play forced Gimnasia y Esgrima LP's goalkeeper Urbano Ignado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nereo Guilabertus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alvaro Lazcano having to make a save. Aureliano Gudesteo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Lazcano having to interfere. In the 29th minute Paulino Aznar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbano Ignado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd match minute, Gimnasia y Esgrima LP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltasar Orzaize to maneuver through the defense. When Camet AFC's Paulino Aznar in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Alvaro Lazcano was left in no man's land by his defense there! The long shot by Aaron Lertxun in the 47th minute really tested Urbano Ignado's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 48 minutes into the match, Camet AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Gudesteo came free, but Alvaro Lazcano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

If Anacleto Orlandus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aureliano Gudesteo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Alvaro Lazcano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 61 minutes of play Camet AFC's Fabio Maties was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 62nd match minute, Camet AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Maties to maneuver through the defense. Aureliano Gudesteo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paulino Aznar hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Camet AFC's zone, Aureliano Gudesteo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvaro Lazcano came out of the goal and Aureliano Gudesteo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulino Aznar's late challenge caught a Gimnasia y Esgrima LP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulino Aznar helped the player get up and apologised. After 68 played minutes Camet AFC got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Aznar. Gimnasia y Esgrima LP's Aureliano Gudesteo came free and shot a quick shot against goal 69 minutes in the game, fortunately Alvaro Lazcano had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 75th minute, Nereo Guilabertus reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alvaro Lazcano. The goal made the score 1-2. Urbano Ignado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anacleto Orlandus went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Nereo Guilabertus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvaro Lazcano was relentless in the 91st minute of the game.
