Abelardo Chinto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 40th minute Dalmacio Macerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Chinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Gaizkine in the 42nd minute of play forced Fachinal FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Chinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victorio Manilan to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Manilan in the 53rd minute of play forced Guemes Juniors's goalkeeper Honorato Ferman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 54 minutes, Carmelo Estebano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guemes Juniors and the Fachinal FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Damaso Gaizkine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Chinto having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Victorio Manilan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Honorato Ferman was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Victorio Manilan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
