After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Agustin Nabar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Douglas Haig's supporters rose to their feet, but Agustin Nabar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ariel Resto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Roversi FC's zone, Agustin Ortzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ariel Resto came out of the goal and Agustin Ortzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fausto Lluc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Iruinea in the 16th minute of the match. Roversi FC's Ariel Resto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Ortzi in the 20th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Douglas Haig's zone, Dante Iruinea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fausto Lluc came out of the goal and Dante Iruinea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gaston Cordarryl charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaston Cordarryl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 28 played minutes Douglas Haig got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Cordarryl. In the 29th minute of the match Celestino Cordearo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fausto Lluc skillfully saved the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Douglas Haig fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! In the 31st minute there was a penalty for Roversi FC. Celestino Cordearo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fausto Lluc. 0-1. Fausto Lluc came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Roversi FC's Carolo Geleberto. But to his dismay, Carolo Geleberto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Agustin Ortzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 38 played minutes Roversi FC got a freekick which was hit by Natalio Iliana. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Agustin Nabar put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ariel Resto. Constantino Dimo charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Constantino Dimo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Roversi FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Constantino Dimo hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dante Iruinea was the one to do the kick off. In the 59th minute of the game, Carolo Geleberto landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 60 played minutes Douglas Haig got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Bermudo. Agustin Nabar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ariel Resto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute Agustin Ortzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Resto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ariel Resto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agustin Nabar went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 82nd minute, Agustin Nabar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 90 minutes, Natalio Iliana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Roversi FC and the Douglas Haig players grew even worse after the yellow card. Natalio Iliana kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Agustin Nabar hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute of the match Celestino Cordearo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fausto Lluc showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Douglas Haig's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
