Los Humildes Geniales's Eloy Sein couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 16th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for System of a Down. David Froylan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Leizarraga in the 22nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iker Gaitano got free with David Froylan in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute of the match Adolfo Galindo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but David Froylan skillfully saved the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Angel Orlanda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Humildes Geniales's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave System of a Down the free kick. A collision led to Los Humildes Geniales getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Angel Orlanda hit a great ball. In the 29th match minute, Los Humildes Geniales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Urti to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Los Humildes Geniales's David Froylan got control of the ball when Iker Gaitano tried to sneak it across the goal line. System of a Down's Leo Santo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Elodio in the 32nd minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, System of a Down's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Elodio came free, but Leo Santo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, System of a Down's Ambrosio Leizarraga ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind David Froylan.
