In the 13th minute, Eloy Dalmu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La podrida FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Fidel Urbes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Americo Abarca's late challenge caught a Alma Mora's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Americo Abarca helped the player get up and apologised. Americo Abarca kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Fidel Urbes scored 2-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adam Nicolaescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fidel Urbes came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Adam Nicolaescu could save by the left post. Eloy Iratze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Avellaneda, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. When Melchor Jesco came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the La podrida FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melchor Jesco couldn't finish the play. If Gaspar Avellaneda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eloy Iratze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Avellaneda, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Adam Nicolaescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Maraman in the 44th minute of play. Americo Abarca got his second yellow card in the match during the 45th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to La podrida FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Americo Abarca hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 52nd minute, Alonzo Celino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gogo Sadurni missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 56 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Eloy Iratze right hand side. Serafin Lazcano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Serafin Lazcano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Eloy Iratze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th match minute, Alma Mora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Millano to maneuver through the defense. La podrida FC's Eloy Dalmu got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eloy Dalmu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Iratze having to interfere. Filiberto Iyan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adam Nicolaescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Urbes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eloy Dalmu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eloy Iratze read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Adam Nicolaescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Maraman in the 80th minute of the match. Siro Santiago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Alma Mora's zone, Eloy Dalmu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloy Iratze came out of the goal and Eloy Dalmu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. La podrida FC's Eloy Dalmu got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Gaspar Avellaneda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Many of La podrida FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. La podrida FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Alma Mora were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
