Olivia AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ave Fenix the free kick. Venancio Faro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cirilo Ortle having to interfere. The Ave Fenix players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Olivia AFC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Venancio Faro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Astor Bidari fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ave Fenix's protests and gave Astor Bidari a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ave Fenix's Astor Bidari got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Jonatan Kusko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvio Suero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basilio Orti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvio Suero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Lalla in the 66th minute of play. Venancio Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Cirilo Ortle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ave Fenix's Cipriano Qwinton got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. The referee ordered Cipriano Qwinton off the ground. The supporters of Olivia AFC booed when Ave Fenix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Qwinton didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Ave Fenix's goal looked a bit too open when Amancio Aballe came free, but Silvio Suero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Basilio Orti fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Silvio Suero, passed just outside the right post. Jonatan Kusko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Primitivo Sabino during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Olivia AFC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Primitivo Sabino hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Olivia AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
