Santiago Neron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benicio Sugar in the 6th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Gimnasia y salto en alto's goal looked a bit too open when Benicio Sugar came free, but Santiago Neron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santiago Neron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Eyague, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th match minute, Gimnasia y salto en alto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Amato to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Gimnasia y salto en alto defense, Benicio Sugar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santiago Neron. The Gimnasia y salto en alto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santiago Neron should have stopped the shot. Santiago Neron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Servando in the 24th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Gimnasia y salto en alto's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Eyague came free, but Santiago Neron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oscar Macerio to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Lobos FC got a freekick which was hit by Andres Mede. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Macerio in the 58th minute of play forced Lobos FC's goalkeeper Matias Osasun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gimnasia y salto en alto's Santiago Neron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Eyague in the 60th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 65 minutes into the game, when Vicente Dominic put in a rough tackle. After a defensive mix-up in Gimnasia y salto en alto's zone, Benicio Sugar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Neron came out of the goal and Benicio Sugar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benicio Sugar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santiago Neron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Eyague in the 76th minute of play. With a little luck, Gimnasia y salto en alto's Santiago Neron got control of the ball when Benicio Sugar tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 83rd play minute Benicio Sugar came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Santiago Neron. 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benicio Sugar got free with Santiago Neron in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gimnasia y salto en alto's Santiago Neron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Eyague in the 89th minute of play. Lobos FC's Carlos Eyague got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Santiago Neron made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benicio Sugar in the 93rd minute. Benicio Sugar succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 95th playminute. The Lobos FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
