ACERTIJO MJL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Efrain Bortzaioriz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Piedritas c.f.'s Apolo Ferrer got a free kick in the 50th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Diego Jerardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piedritas c.f.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Jerardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Harri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Efrain Bortzaioriz put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Bruno Harri. After having played for 69 minutes, Diego Jerardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gaston Lazcano's late challenge caught a ACERTIJO MJL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaston Lazcano helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of ACERTIJO MJL booed when Piedritas c.f. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. When the match was over Piedritas c.f. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ACERTIJO MJL throughout the match.
