When Ramon Jurdan fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monte Grande F.C's protests and gave Ramon Jurdan a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 played minutes Monte Grande F.C got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Jurdan. Jorge Abalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Millano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eliseo Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orlando Dei was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Benicio Birjaio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 32 minute of play. A hard shot by Flavio Garcia from long distance, 37 minutes into the match, got Orlando Dei's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Orlando Dei made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Eliseo Torres sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Aguilas FC's goalkeeper Orlando Dei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benicio Birjaio to make the kick off. A collision led to Los Aguilas FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Nereo Teyo hit a great ball. In the 59th minute Benicio Birjaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Dei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Monte Grande F.C's Cipriano Gutierrez got a free kick in the 61st minute. Justino Servando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute, Los Aguilas FC's Justino Servando ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jorge Abalos. Jorge Abalos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. 93 minutes into the game, Saverio Perico was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Aguilas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monte Grande F.C the free kick. Benicio Birjaio struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Orlando Dei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monte Grande F.C. Monte Grande F.C's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
