One of Liébana F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Los Aguilas FC:s goal. Federico Bizi walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 17th minute, Justino Servando ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ariel Silbestre was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 27th minute Justino Servando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Silbestre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Liébana F.C.'s zone, Anibal Millano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ariel Silbestre came out of the goal and Anibal Millano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carmelo Gutxi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The long shot by Nereo Teyo in the 66th minute really tested Ariel Silbestre's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 72nd match minute, Liébana F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Gutxi to maneuver through the defense. When Fermin Gabirel fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Liébana F.C.'s protests and gave Fermin Gabirel a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Liébana F.C.'s Fermin Gabirel got a free kick in the 76th minute.
